After three months of evaluation, the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (TBIO) has selected 14 companies as the 2022 winners of the Taiwan BIO Awards by evaluating their operational performance, development potential, research and development capabilities, and social contribution. SunWay Biotech is honored to be listed as one of the winners awarded the Gold Award of 2022 Taiwan BIO Award!
“SunWay Biotech Co., LTD.” was founded in 2007. As a leading world-class dietary supplement expert, SunWay Biotech aims to apply diverse and effective microorganisms, and develop efficient and unique fermentation processes, to provide high-quality products that ensure carefree health across the globe.

Meanwhile, SunWay has performed many clinical trials, including regulating blood lipids, blood sugar, blood pressure, and Alzheimer’s disease, to demonstrate the benefits of our patented ingredients- ANKASCIN 568-R in Taiwan, Tientsin, and Los Angeles. Moreover, we also have two clinical trials in progress related to blood lipids regulation (HDL-C) and blood sugar modulation (HbA1C) in Cheng Ching Hospital.
As for our patented Vigiis 101-LAB probiotic, we have finished two clinical trials related to gut microbiota and gut transition improvement. Furthermore, two clinical trials are in progress, which is associated with H. pylori and atopic dermatitis.
According to Nielsen N.V. data, our two products, “NIANJIAN Monascus capsules” and “NIANJIAN Probiotic 101, ” consistently maintained the top market share from 2018 to 2021 in the heart health and digestive health category in Taiwan. “This is because of the scientific evidence and efficacy of our products, and the marketing and channel strategy of NIANJIAN. ” says John Pan.
In the global market, ANKASCIN 568-R for heart health has been promoted in the USA, Canada, Belgium, Netherland, Malaysia, China, Egypt, and Italy. Our patented Vigiis 101-LAB probiotic has been promoted in Italy, Germany, and China. In addition to dietary supplements, SunWay has published cosmetics products to expand the application of microorganisms fermentation.
